Essential Info.
This trip allows you to enjoy driving the iconic 4 x 4 Landrover defender in the dramatic Transylvania environment. You will experience scenic road routes and off-road trails which will also include the notable Transfagarasan Highway. [As seen on an episode of Top Gear]. It will be a varied trip allowing you to enjoy ancient Saxon villages, staying in mountain lodges surrounded by awesome scenery and to learn the 4 x 4 potential of Defender. You will be able to drive the vehicles yourself while also having a guide and instructor. We would class this trip as moderate and within the comfort zone of the average driver. Each day will also include various visits and walking opportunities.

To reserve your place on a tour you need to E Mail us through the booking section of the website and after receiving our payment details, send £200.00 to our account.
The final payment balance for the trip is to be received 90 days prior to the tour.
For bookings made less than 90 days before the tour, full payment will be required at booking.
Should you decide to cancel your trip for any reason the following deductions will apply:
Up to 59 days prior to departure: £200.00 deducted.
60 and 39 days prior to departure: 50% of trip cost deducted.
Less than 40 days: 80% deducted.
G4G reserves the right to cancel any Tour with a minimum of 15 days notice. In the unlikely event of this happening, all money will be refunded.
G4G advises each client to take out ample travel insurance should cancellation occur by either party.

Is this trip for me?
If you have a clean driving licence, are over 21 and have at least one year driving experience you can take part. To pass on the driving and to just enjoy the ride is also an option if you are part of a group.
