Arrive to Brasov Ghimbav Airport and transfer to the stunning historic old town of Brasov for an evening meal, a wander though the Old Town and a great nights sleep.

After a delicious buffet breakfast we will have a short guided walk in the Old Town before loading up into the landrovers and setting off for the mountains. We will do both on-road and off-road driving to allow familiarity with the iconic Defenders. We visit the Bison reserve and then ascend up to the peak of the Ciucas mountains where we check into the Cabana. Stunning walks, relaxing or enjoying a quiet drink are all options.

Setting off from Ciucas Peak cabana we then head south of Brasov to allow for a visit to the much publicised Dracula castle and folk museum before ascending via Zarnesti village to our Hotel in the mountains hwere we can enjoy the many off road trails and stunning views. Bear watching at a local hide is a great option at this location.

Another wonderful days driving through the stunning Carpathian mountain villages where we will visit the Carpathian Biosphere Reserve to understand the efforts to protect Beavers, Bison and the general surrounding nature. We then drive on via the famed Transfagarasan Highway to our idylic Cabana high in the mountains and nestled by the lake. Walking, relaxing or enjoying a quiet drink all on offer.

After a full breakfast and an optional walk we head over the back of the mountain to the Historic town of Sibiu. This is a chance to enjoy a wonderful old town, buy some gifts and chill in the coffee shops before driving onward to the Sibiu Airport. Return to Brasov is also an option.
